The Business Workflow
A reseller preparing a quotation may need to copy requested items, find matching products, check stock, calculate selling prices and assemble a document. ZaidanLab Quotes is a reference implementation of that workflow. It demonstrates a possible solution, not a paid client engagement, verified market demand or measured time saving.

Open the demo and use the sample request. Select Match requested items, choose a catalog candidate for each line, review its quantity, stock and selling price, then approve it manually. Once every line is approved, download a quotation CSV or use Print / Save as PDF where the browser supports it. You can also import a catalog CSV using the provided format. No account is required.
Rules Before AI
Matching uses exact SKU/name checks and keyword overlap, not an AI model or a calibrated confidence score. The system does not invent a product or price when a request has no suitable match. Every selected item requires approval, and combined quantities for repeated SKUs are checked against sample stock. Selling price is calculated from gross margin, not markup, using integer-cent arithmetic. Tax is illustrative and defaults to zero; it is not jurisdiction-specific tax advice.
What the Demo Data Means
The included catalog contains 24 synthetic laptop, smartphone and tablet records from DummyJSON, with its MIT license and source endpoints retained in the demo. API prices are used as illustrative base prices, not verified wholesale costs, and USD is an explicit demo assumption. Stock is fictional, no inventory is reserved, and nothing is ordered or sent to a customer. The cover image is a workflow illustration rather than a screenshot or customer result.
Data Handling and Validation
The interface runs in the browser. Catalog imports, customer text and approvals stay in tab memory unless the user explicitly downloads or prints a file; refreshing clears the work. No model API or application upload endpoint receives the entered data. CSV exports and the print view omit internal base-price and margin details. Automated checks cover parsing, margin calculations, aggregate stock limits, approval gating, import rejection, text injection protection and CSV formula escaping. These checks do not establish production readiness or guarantee PDF rendering on every phone.
A Starting Point, Not a Finished SaaS
A production implementation would need business-specific catalog sources, authentication, permissions, retention, audit history and operational controls. Supplier freshness, currency and tax rules must be agreed before real quotations are issued. This demo shows how ZaidanLab approaches a bounded business process: use dependable rules, expose exceptions and keep approval with the user. It does not claim paying customers, financial returns or AI-generated results.
